Starting out here, the Dreiländereck region has a wide variety of trails recommended by the mountain-bike community, as well as demanding routes to discover on racing bikes. But also amateur sports enthusiasts of all ages, whether tour groups, families or couples can rent a bicycle or e-bike at our location and explore the surrounding area on two wheels.

Mountain Bike Holidays in the Border Triangle

Mountainbikers will discover a broad range of tracks and trails in the Dreiländereck, e.g. Kopein Trail, Samonigg Trail, Latschacher Trail, Mirnockriesen Trail, Shorty, Low- or Flowgartner . The MTB trails around Lake Ossiacher See and on the Gerlitzen are built by professionals, “shaped”, tried out and opened to the community. You can download all these tracks from Trailforks Mobile, a popular app in the mountain biking community.

Starting out at the mountain resort, you can also make mountain bike trips to Italy and Slovenia; we recommend booking guided tours with our partners RIDE.company or the Alpsbrothers. The mountain bike skill centre Area One on Kumitzberg in Villach is just a few minutes away, by car or bike, and offers a training area for mountain bikers of all performance levels. Sport Cycling in the South of Austria

The sunny south of Austria is an attractive terrain for bicycle racers. The long stretches of countryside and the hills of the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Nock Mountains are ideal, as are the challenging mountain passes near the mountain resort. Excursions across the border certainly pay off, e.g. across the Wurzenpass to Slovenia and then across the Vrsic pass or the Predl pass to Italy, and from there to the Sella Nevea.
