Adventure Holidays on the Kanzelhöhe
Right by the Gerlitzen Gipfelbahn middle station, around 500 m away from the hotel, you will find the Erlebnisarena Kanzelhöhe (Adventure Arena Kanzelhöhe) . It features a broad variety of fun activities, especially geared to families, e.g. electrically powered go-karts, a bungee trampoline or a tubing track. The Kids Bike Park nearby has mountain bike trails that are particularly designed for children, including bumpy trails and steep turns. The Gerlitzen Adventure and High Ropes Park features a high ropes course from entry level to advanced level and flying fox fun for the entire family for kids from 3 yrs. of age.
Recreational Paradise Lake Ossiacher See
The area around Lake Ossiacher See, the third largest lake in Carinthia, is a true recreational paradise for children and adults alike. On hot summer days, treat yourself to a family day by the lake for swimming and sunbathing, take advantage of the range of sports activities offered by regional partners, from water skiing to rock climbing, or make a trip to the closer surroundings, e.g. to the Finsterbach waterfalls or to the Monkey Mountain with Landskron Castle .

Slightly to the south of Lake Faaker See there are even more fun attractions just waiting to be discovered by visitors of all ages. Your kids will be thrilled to follow the “Fox Trail”, a family hiking trail right by Lake Faaker See, which by the way starts directly in front of our sister hotel the village SCHÖNLEITN . Why don´t you take the family on a trip to follow the tracks of Woroun the dragon in the “Dragon’s Forest” or have a go at rock climbing or archery in the high ropes course on the Taborhöhe, which is right next to our other sister hotel, the village of SEELEITN.
