On the northern shore of Lake Ossiacher See, the path leads uphill to the Gerlitzen Alpe with its unspoiled alpine pastures surrounded by Carinthia’s breath-taking mountain scenery. This is where DIE KANZLERIN, the former Almresort Gerlitzen, is located, at an altitude of around 1,500 m. In 2021, the hotel joined the Naturel Hotels family, and having been fully renovated in 2022, it now shows itself at its very best, offering nature lovers the best of two worlds: Lakeside holidays but still in the middle of the mountains.

Amenities & Cuisine at the Hotel Resort

94 apartments & suites are spread out across the Mountain Resort DIE KANZLERIN, all of which were fully renovated in 2021/2022 and provide for a cosy atmosphere in a modern “alpine look”. The apartments and suites consist of 1–2 bedrooms each, living room with eat-in kitchen, bathroom with WC, and balcony or terrace. The adjoining wellness area with indoor pool, sauna & steam bath invites guests to relax and enjoy. The resort restaurant, including a separate room (“Stüberl”) and bar, serves delicious food and drinks.
